Meet Our Team
Hey there! I am Justin Ong. I’m currently contributing to BestSingaporeBuy. It’s been such a fun and exciting opportunity to explore different topics and share my knowledge with a wider audience. I love being able to help people make informed decisions about the products they buy, and I’m always learning new things along the way.
You know, I actually used to work as a journalist for TODAY, covering Singapore news focusing on topics like manpower, transport, and sports. It was an incredible experience, and I had the opportunity to cover some really important events like the Trump-Kim Summit and the SingHealth data leak incident.
Overall, I feel so fortunate to have had these experiences and to continue to grow and develop my skills as a writer and journalist. Who knows what the future holds, but I’m excited to see where my career takes me next!
Loraine Lee is a journalist who covers environment, housing and education at TODAY. She was previously reporting for Vulcan Post, and graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in communications and new media. In her free time, she can be found playing video games, the only constant hobby she’s kept through the years. Reach out to Loraine at loraine.lee@mediacorp.com.sg
Hey there! So, I used to work as a journalist at TODAY, where I covered the environment, housing, and education. It was an incredible experience, and I learned so much during my time there. Before that, I worked at Vulcan Post, where I really got to hone my journalism skills and build up my writing portfolio.
But let me tell you, I’m not all work and no play. In my free time, I’m a gamer through and through. It’s the one hobby I’ve kept up with consistently over the years, and I’m pretty darn good at it if I do say so myself.
After leaving TODAY, I started working with the team over at BestSingaporeBuy. It’s been such a fun and exciting opportunity to put my knowledge and skills to use in a new way, and I love being able to help people make informed decisions about the products they buy. Who knows what the future holds, but I’m excited to keep pushing myself and exploring new opportunities in the world of journalism and beyond.
Taufiq Zalizan covers the business, manpower, transport and court beats. Before joining TODAY in 2022, he was a broadcast and digital journalist for Berita Mediacorp, following a stint in public relations. He spends more time looking at guitars online than actually playing the ones he already has, and can never say no to his cat. Get in touch with Taufiq Zalizan at taufiq@mediacorp.com.sg.
Hey there, I am Taufiq Zalizan, I’m currently working with the team over at BestSingaporeBuy, helping people make informed decisions about the products they buy. It’s been such a fun and rewarding experience so far, and I’m excited to see where it takes me in the future.
But before my time at BestSingaporeBuy, I worked as a journalist at TODAY. I covered the business, manpower, transport, and court beats, which was definitely a challenge at times. Before that, I was a broadcast and digital journalist for BeritaMediacorp, and even spent some time in the public relations world.
But enough about work – let’s talk about hobbies. When I’m not busy writing or researching, I love browsing guitar listings online (even though I probably have more guitars than I actually need) and spending time with my cat. She’s the queen of the house, no doubt about it.
All in all, I’m excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to see where my career takes me next.
I am Dr. Martha Tara Lee, the founder of Eros Coaching and a Clinical Sexologist with a doctorate in human sexuality. I am also certified in counseling, coaching, and sex therapy, and I am proud to be the only certified sexuality educator by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) in Singapore. As a recognized expert in my field, I have been featured in numerous media outlets, including Men’s Health Singapore and Men’s Health Malaysia.
In addition to my private coaching sessions, I conduct workshops that are not only educational but also fun and sex-positive. I believe that sex is meant to be a joyful and sacred experience, and my workshops reflect this belief. I take pride in making sure that all my clients and workshop participants feel comfortable and respected while exploring their sexuality.
Currently, I am contributing to BestSingaporeBuy.com, and I am enjoying my work with the team there. I am thrilled to be a part of this team and to continue spreading awareness and education about sexuality in Singapore and beyond.
Hey there! I am Lin. When I’m not grilling high-profile politicians and personalities on CNA’s Conversation With, I’m hard at work with the team at BestSingaporeBuy. It’s been a fun and challenging experience so far, helping people make informed decisions about the products they buy.
Before my time at BestSingaporeBuy and CNA, I developed and hosted Cents and Sensibilities, CNA’s first dedicated retail investment show. And prior to that, I was a bureau chief and Scandinavian Chief Correspondent at Dow Jones Newswires.
I was born in Britain, but my studies have taken me all over the world. I hold a Masters degree from Cambridge University where I studied Law. And after that, I completed post-graduate studies in “The Theory of the Firm” and “Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methodologies.” I even published a book on the influence of financial and business media companies!
All in all, it’s been an exciting and rewarding journey so far. I’m grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had and can’t wait to see where my career takes me next. And who knows? Maybe someday I’ll be interviewing you on CNA!
Hey there, I’m Davina Tham, a journalist who’s been around the block a few times. I was previously working as a senior journalist at CNA Digital, but before that, I was trying my hand at foreign service and even worked as a reporter in Taiwan. I mean, who doesn’t love a good adventure, am I right? Anyways, I got my journalism degree from the National University of Singapore (go NUS!), and these days I’m also contributing my skills to BestSingaporeBuy. Gotta keep busy, you know? And let me tell you, I’m having an absolute blast working with that team. Life’s too short to not have a good time, right?
