“Came here to celebrate my birthday and I have to say this is one of the best Japanese sushi restaurants I have ever been to. Firstly the service was amazing, the staff were extremely friendly and patient. They explained to me the different types of dishes and what ingredients were used in it which was very insightful. The environment makes you feel like you are in a Japanese home which was very comforting and peaceful. Moving on to the food, the food was just simply amazing. Every mouthful of sushi was so fresh. It is as though you are eating the sushi straight from when it was caught from the sea. You can just taste the ocean directly in your mouth which was amazing. The different types of sushi and dishes had so many unique flavors which left me really satisfied with every bite. The presentation of the dishes was really good which added to the overall experience, the Japanese dining experience. The desserts were exceptional too and I would say the Japanese melon was one of the highlights. It is so sweet and juicy which was very refreshing. I would highly recommend trying it. “Incredible value. Great food at an unbelievably low price in the city. Ordered two sets at $9.80 each: Miso Katsu (pork cutlet with a miso gravy) and Salad + Sushi. Both sets came with miso soup and chawanmushi. The Katsu was crispy and flavourful, and the sushi and salad were both satisfactory. Added on a canned drink for $1. Side dishes of chawanmushi and miso soup were warm and hearty.
